Cătălin Frântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Tender having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Izbicioara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Șofran to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Arotăriței succeeded in the game's 13th minute to get real power on a long shot . Izbicioara's Maxim Vaştag hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Andrei Andronescu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Andronescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Izbicioara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Andronescu to maneuver through the defense. Maxim Mironov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxim Vaştag having to make a save. The supporters of Izbicioara booed when Molani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Daraban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Molani's Codrin Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Cicortaș in the 26th minute of play. Codrin Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Cicortaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Molani got a freekick which was hit by Florin Mihu. Olimpiu Bistreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maxim Vaştag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Izbicioara's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Bistreanu came free, but Maxim Vaştag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Maxim Mironov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Vaştag was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cătălin Frântu was the one to do the kick off. If Cătălin Frântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Tender made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Octav Cicortaș sent off a good shot on target. Octav Cicortaș struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Codrin Tender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izbicioara. 57 minutes into the game, Emanuel Țâpu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Molani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izbicioara the free kick. Emanuel Țâpu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Molani got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Arotăriței. In the 65th minute, Octav Cicortaș made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Tender. Molani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Maxim Mironov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Vaştag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Mironov in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Costin Barboni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izbicioara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molani the free kick. Maxim Mironov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxim Vaştag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izbicioara's goalkeeper Maxim Vaştag, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olimpiu Bistreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxim Vaştag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Nicolae Șofran's late challenge caught a Molani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolae Șofran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Nicolae Șofran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Frântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Tender having to interfere. Izbicioara's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
