The supporters of Traparauta booed when Rapid Constanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Costea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Gherghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Calciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Mihnea Calciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Codrin Gherghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Rizescu during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Codrin Gherghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Calciu in the 28th minute of the match. When Traparauta's Mihnea Calciu in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rapid Constanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Basarabescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mihnea Calciu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Traparauta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Calciu couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to Traparauta getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Daniel Avacariței hit a great ball. Iordache Nediu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Nediu in the 60th minute of play forced Traparauta's goalkeeper Petru Vătafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Constanta's zone, Ioan Horodincă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Gherghe came out of the goal and Ioan Horodincă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Traparauta's Denis Moșanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Gherghe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ioan Horodincă scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codrin Gherghe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Ioan Horodincă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codrin Gherghe. Rapid Constanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Horodincă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Adam Baicu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Constanta's zone, Ioan Horodincă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Gherghe came out of the goal and Ioan Horodincă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Rapid Constanta defense, Ioan Horodincă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Gherghe. The Rapid Constanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Gherghe should have stopped the shot. When Ioan Horodincă came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Traparauta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Horodincă couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Mihnea Calciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Gherghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid Constanta's goalkeeper Codrin Gherghe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Chiriacescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Codrin Gherghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rapid Constanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Traparauta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
