Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cacova's Flavius Mihoc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sandu Bîlbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Calciu in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Flavius Mihoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Vătafu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ioan Horodincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ioan Horodincă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Sandu Bîlbă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute, Ioan Horodincă made a precise shot to the right of Sandu Bîlbă. Cacova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Traparauta getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denis Moșanu hit a great ball. Traparauta's Petru Vătafu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Rogoz in the 27th minute of play. Petru Vătafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Rogoz in the 30th minute of play. Petru Vătafu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Rogoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Calciu made a kick off. Sandu Bîlbă came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Traparauta's Mihnea Calciu. But to his dismay, Mihnea Calciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Cacova getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Șerban Dascălu hit a great ball. Traian Dindelegan, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Flavius Mihoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Vătafu having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Cacova's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Calciu came free, but Sandu Bîlbă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Ioan Horodincă suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petrică Andronescu during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Traian Dindelegan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandu Bîlbă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Traparauta got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Calciu. Mihnea Calciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Traparauta's Mihnea Calciu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Traparauta's goalkeeper Petru Vătafu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavius Mihoc. Petru Vătafu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dan Rogoz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 91 minute of play. When Traian Dindelegan fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Traparauta's protests and gave Traian Dindelegan a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Dindelegan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Traparauta's Petru Vătafu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Rogoz in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Traparauta were victorious despite being under pressure from Cacova for much of the match.
