In the 37thth minute of the game Aurelian Bourceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapid Constanta's Codrin Gherghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ticitaca sepsi osk's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Nediu came free, but Liviu Costin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Adrian Bratu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Basarabescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Liviu Costin. Liviu Costin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordache Nediu's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Liviu Costin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Costea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mihăiţă Bitănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Iordache Nediu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Costin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Rapid Constanta's Bogdan Costea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Costin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liviu Costin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iordache Nediu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Adam Dobrica charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Dobrica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rapid Constanta getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rapid Constanta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ticitaca sepsi osk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
