Costel Giosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Stoican in the 16th minute of the match. Petre Dinculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Mereacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Bivolaru kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Petre Dinculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Mereacre in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Maxim Mereacre put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Petre Dinculescu. In the 32nd minute, Leontin Tudorică made a precise shot to the right of Costel Giosu. AS Dealurile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adam Brad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Petre Dinculescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Mircea Stoican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Tudorică in the 41st minute of play forced AS Dealurile's goalkeeper Costel Giosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colonia FC's Petre Dinculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Colonia FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Maxim Mereacre scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Dinculescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot by Iustin Chiuzbaian from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Costel Giosu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Costel Giosu made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mircea Stoican sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of AS Dealurile booed when Colonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis David didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Brad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Tudorică in the 65th minute of play forced AS Dealurile's goalkeeper Costel Giosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Francisc Bivolaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AS Dealurile's zone, Leontin Tudorică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costel Giosu came out of the goal and Leontin Tudorică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Giosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Tudorică in the 88th minute of play. If Mircea Stoican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AS Dealurile had won after a very even match.
