Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rareș Murgoci kicked off to start the match. Sandu Cudalb kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Elefteriu, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Vasile Colin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Dealurile's Costel Giosu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxim Mereacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Horia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Mereacre's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Murgoci in the 19th minute of play forced AS Dealurile's goalkeeper Costel Giosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Murgoci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Costel Giosu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Rareș Murgoci got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristian Horia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Brad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ciolpan during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Ciolpan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Mereacre was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AS Dealurile's Eric Petrescu got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Steaua FC Iasi got a corner. AS Dealurile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferdinand Elefteriu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Steaua FC Iasi's Ferdinand Elefteriu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Costel Giosu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute, Matei Tudor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costel Giosu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 59th minute, AS Dealurile's Maxim Mereacre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, AS Dealurile's Adam Brad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Horia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rareș Murgoci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute, AS Dealurile's Maxim Mereacre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Horia. Cristian Horia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Costel Giosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Tudor in the 77th minute of the match. If Matei Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, one of AS Dealurile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AS Dealurile. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Steaua FC Iasi. Ferdinand Elefteriu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Costel Giosu. 2-3. After having played for 91 minutes, Matei Tudor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steaua FC Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Tudor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rareș Murgoci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rareș Murgoci got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Costel Giosu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. AS Dealurile's Costel Giosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Murgoci in the 97th minute of play. Adam Brad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AS Dealurile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
