Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rareș Murgoci got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Steaua FC Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Jianu came free, but Cristian Horia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Rovers 72's Cristian Jianu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Matei Tudor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Harnagea having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, FC Rovers 72's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Tudor came free, but Rareș Harnagea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Rovers 72's Rareș Harnagea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Murgoci in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Mircea Hreapcă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rovers 72 and the Steaua FC Iasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes FC Rovers 72 got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Hreapcă. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua FC Iasi's zone, Cristian Jianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Horia came out of the goal and Cristian Jianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Vasile Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Horia came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rovers 72's Cristian Jianu. But to his dismay, Cristian Jianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Sever Văleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Jianu made a kick off. Cristian Jianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristian Horia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sever Văleanu came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Rovers 72 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Văleanu couldn't finish the play. FC Rovers 72's Rareș Harnagea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rovers 72 from getting a goal against them. Matei Tudor struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rareș Harnagea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua FC Iasi. Vasile Colin's late challenge caught a FC Rovers 72's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasile Colin helped the player get up and apologised. Vasile Colin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Steaua FC Iasi's Matei Tudor got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Sever Văleanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Jianu in the 67th minute of play forced Steaua FC Iasi's goalkeeper Cristian Horia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, FC Rovers 72's Cristian Jianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Horia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Cristian Jianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Horia was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Toader Cristoiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rareș Harnagea. FC Rovers 72's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Horia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Jianu in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, FC Rovers 72's Sever Văleanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Horia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When FC Rovers 72's Cristian Jianu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua FC Iasi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute Sever Văleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Horia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Murgoci in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Rovers 72's goalkeeper Rareș Harnagea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Harnagea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Tudor in the 95th minute. After 98 played minutes FC Rovers 72 got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Jianu. FC Rovers 72's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
