Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ionică Antipa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rareș Iosub took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Pătrășconiu. Damian Pătrășconiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rareș Iosub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Pătrășconiu having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Ionică Antipa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rareș Iosub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Damian Pătrășconiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Iosub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Pătrășconiu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tarsa's zone, Ionică Antipa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Pătrășconiu came out of the goal and Ionică Antipa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionică Antipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Cazimir Gurlui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cuzaplac FC's Ionică Antipa in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarsa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute Ionică Antipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Pătrășconiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Cuzaplac FC got a freekick which was hit by Florin Panduru. In the 38th minute, Mădălin Buteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes Tarsa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiberiu Paraschivescu who took care of the corner kick. Tiberiu Paraschivescu made a great header on Cuzaplac FC's corner, it was just that Tarsa's Damian Pătrășconiu managed to reach the ball for a save. Rareș Iosub might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Pătrășconiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rareș Iosub ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Antipa in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Pătrășconiu saved Tarsa from getting behind.

The wind increased when Viorel Iordache made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ernest Paulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Tiberiu Paraschivescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionică Antipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Pătrășconiu having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Cazimir Gurlui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Cubleșan in the 72nd minute of play forced Cuzaplac FC's goalkeeper Dinu Stănciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarsa's Damian Pătrășconiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Tarsa from getting a goal against them. Ionică Antipa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Pătrășconiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Cazimir Gurlui's late challenge caught a Cuzaplac FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Gurlui helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cuzaplac FC booed when Tarsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Gurlui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Gurlui got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes Tarsa got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Gurlui. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Marin during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Leontin Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gică Lucaci hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ionică Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Pătrășconiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Antipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cuzaplac FC's Florin Panduru got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ionică Antipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarsa's goalkeeper Damian Pătrășconiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Cuzaplac FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tarsa throughout the match.
