Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rareș Murgoci started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Cuzaplac FC's Ionică Antipa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Horia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9thth minute of the game Matei Tudor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuzaplac FC's Dinu Stănciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Rareș Iosub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuzaplac FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Iosub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Ciupe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Horia. Steaua FC Iasi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rareș Iosub's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Horia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 25th minute, Emanuel Ciolpan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Vasile Colin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua FC Iasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuzaplac FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Vasile Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cuzaplac FC's Tiberiu Paraschivescu tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Ionică Bogătean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rareș Iosub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Steaua FC Iasi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rareș Iosub fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Horia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Antipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Iosub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Antipa in the 44th minute of play forced Steaua FC Iasi's goalkeeper Cristian Horia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Horia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Antipa in the 45th minute of the match. Ionică Antipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Horia having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionică Antipa to strike the kick off in the second half. Steaua FC Iasi's Cristian Horia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Iosub in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Steaua FC Iasi's Ferdinand Elefteriu got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Cuzaplac FC booed when Steaua FC Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes, Cuzaplac FC's Tiberiu Paraschivescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristian Horia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuzaplac FC reached it. Rareș Iosub scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Horia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rareș Iosub hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Matei Tudor in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dinu Stănciulescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Horia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Iosub in the 79th minute of the match. Ferdinand Elefteriu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinu Stănciulescu. Cuzaplac FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matei Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ionică Antipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cristian Horia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Ionică Antipa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Steaua FC Iasi's Cristian Horia. Cristian Horia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Cuzaplac FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
