In the 24thth minute of the game Emil Mergea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaz Gaz Gaz's Alin Ştercă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Radu Negara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alin Ştercă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Paraschiv in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Livezeni AC booed when Gaz Gaz Gaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Baniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Mergea in the 36th minute of play forced Gaz Gaz Gaz's goalkeeper Alin Ştercă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florin Lopatnicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gaz Gaz Gaz's Alin Ştercă got control of the ball when Eric Bogdănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Livezeni AC's zone, Șerban Lepuș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rareș Romoşan came out of the goal and Șerban Lepuș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Martin Paraschiv ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alin Ştercă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cosmin Şteflea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Emil Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Livezeni AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Mergea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alin Ştercă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Mergea in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alin Ştercă saved Gaz Gaz Gaz from getting behind. Alin Ştercă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Mergea in the 75th minute of play. Alin Ştercă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Paraschiv went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Emil Mergea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Gaz Gaz Gaz's Șerban Lepuș got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Martin Paraschiv in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alin Ştercă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
