Rômulo Bezerra was slow to take the kick. During this time Hlincea's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rômulo Bezerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Maxim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 22 played minutes Hlincea got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Brânzaș. In the 24th minute, Romeo Baciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Baican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Maxim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Beșleaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sever Romaşcanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Emil Maxim 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Victoria Q's Răzvan Baican sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Runberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sever Romaşcanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Runberg made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Romeo Petre sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Beșleaga in the 53rd minute of play forced Hlincea's goalkeeper Joel Runberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Romeo Baciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 58 played minutes Hlincea got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Brânzaș. A nice corner shot did that Martin Turceanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joel Runberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Runberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Răzvan Baican in the 63rd minute. Sever Romaşcanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Emil Maxim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoria Q's Emil Maxim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Baciu in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Romeo Baciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Maxim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Victoria Q defense, Sever Romaşcanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Maxim. The Victoria Q fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Maxim should have stopped the shot. When Hlincea's Sever Romaşcanu in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Emil Maxim guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Hlincea booed when Victoria Q was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Constantinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Q's zone, Romeo Baciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Maxim came out of the goal and Romeo Baciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sever Romaşcanu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Maxim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Baciu scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Maxim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hlincea fully deserved thier win.
