Cosmin Gogu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nechifor Iorgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Zgârcu in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes in the game Gică Zgârcu got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Narcis Dăianu struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nechifor Iorgu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoslovesti AC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Dăianu got free with Nechifor Iorgu in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Bogoslovesti AC's Gică Zgârcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nechifor Iorgu. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Bogoslovesti AC's Gică Zgârcu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Gică Zgârcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bogoslovesti AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 36th match minute, Bogoslovesti AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Dăianu to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Iorgu came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Bogoslovesti AC's Narcis Dăianu. But to his dismay, Narcis Dăianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nae Enescu was the one to do the kick off. Narcis Dăianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Iorgu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Liviu Moțoc kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Narcis Dăianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Iorgu came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogoslovesti AC's Narcis Dăianu. But to his dismay, Narcis Dăianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Nechifor Iorgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Dăianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogoslovesti AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Dăianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Iorgu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogoslovesti AC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
