Dan Budulea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fabian Drumeș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Boteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Timisoara BTV's Fabian Drumeș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Boteanu in the 27th minute of play. Octav Movileanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Mardare in the 30th minute of the match. Nistor Boteanu succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, Nistor Boteanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AC Timisoara BTV's Fabian Drumeș. Fabian Drumeș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. With his leg Fabian Drumeș managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when U Craiova David TM 2013's Aurel Chivu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabian Drumeș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Boteanu in the 59th minute of play. Sorin Purcărete struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Octav Movileanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Timisoara BTV. Leonard Colin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Nistor Boteanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Drumeș came out and tried to block the shot, but Nistor Boteanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 82nd minute. Fabian Drumeș was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nistor Boteanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 88 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, AC Timisoara BTV's goalkeeper Fabian Drumeș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Chivu.
