In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind U Craiova David TM 2013's goalkeeper Octav Movileanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. U Craiova David TM 2013's Nistor Boteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigi Romoşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Pantelimon in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Bogoslovesti AC's Gică Zgârcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octav Movileanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gigi Romoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Boteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Nistor Boteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Romoşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigi Romoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Crăiniceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cosmin Gogu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gigi Romoşan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by U Craiova David TM 2013's Flavius Crăiniceanu. But to his dismay, Flavius Crăiniceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Bogoslovesti AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U Craiova David TM 2013 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Nistor Boteanu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in U Craiova David TM 2013's zone, Gică Zgârcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Movileanu came out of the goal and Gică Zgârcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogoslovesti AC's Gică Zgârcu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigi Romoşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Pantelimon in the 64th minute of the match. Narcis Dăianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Movileanu having to interfere. Gică Zgârcu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Octav Movileanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoslovesti AC. U Craiova David TM 2013's Octav Movileanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Dăianu in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Bogoslovesti AC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Narcis Dăianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bogoslovesti AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Dăianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octav Movileanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bogoslovesti AC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
