A collision led to AC Timisoara BTV getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Augustin Carp hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hurjena's Marian Griguță tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Sorin Purcărete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavian Muja hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

After 53 played minutes AC Timisoara BTV got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Carp. Constantin Micu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romeo Moți recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AC Timisoara BTV getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Augustin Carp hit a great ball. Fabian Drumeș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantin Micu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Moți got free with Fabian Drumeș in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Romeo Moți got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Griguță was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes Hurjena got a freekick which was hit by Albert Gherase. Fabian Drumeș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Micu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Micu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fabian Drumeș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Micu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Drumeș was a little too slow when Constantin Micu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-3. Hurjena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
