Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dumitru Gârneață started the match with the kick off. A hard shot by Robert Anisie from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Eduard Firea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Ortacu got free with Eduard Firea in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolae Grămescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nistor Spoială tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Steluta Juniors's Dumitru Gârneață sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Firea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nicolae Grămescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduard Firea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Gârneață in the 21st minute of play. Iacob Ortacu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Eduard Firea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolae Grămescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nistor Spoială tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Dumitru Gârneață managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steluta Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Gârneață was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorel Oravițan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eduard Firea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Drăgan during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Steluta Juniors booed when FC Super Buni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Drăgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Firea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Ortacu in the 36th minute. Dumitru Gârneață blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Firea having to make a save. If Iacob Ortacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Popoacă charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Popoacă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the match, Steluta Juniors's Fabian Hârciog broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Basarab Mitruț made the kick off in the second half. Eduard Firea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Ortacu went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nicolae Grămescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nistor Spoială tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Super Buni's Eduard Firea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Gârneață in the 63rd minute of play. Basarab Mitruț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dumitru Gârneață came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Steluta Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Gârneață couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Ortacu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Firea saved FC Super Buni from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, FC Super Buni's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Gârneață came free, but Eduard Firea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Popoacă kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Eduard Firea came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Steluta Juniors's Iacob Ortacu. But to his dismay, Iacob Ortacu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nicolae Grămescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Spoială firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dumitru Gârneață received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eduard Firea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Firea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Minea in the 90th minute of the match. Nicolae Grămescu took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Spoială. Nistor Spoială dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 96th minute Iacob Ortacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Firea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steluta Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Super Buni for a fine match.
