Mediasch's Mircea Urseanu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mircea Urseanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gănescu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisc Romanescu during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mediasch getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Francisc Romanescu hit a great ball. If Pavel Năsturel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mircea Urseanu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Daniel Gănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mediasch. Daniel Gănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nae Bala went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Mircea Urseanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gănescu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Nae Bala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mediasch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Argisu AS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
