Iustinian Flintașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Neaga having to interfere. Avram Ionescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garbou's Marian Neaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Garbou from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Gheorghe Aluneanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filip Dincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Povară in the 14th minute of play. Iustinian Flintașus short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Marian Neaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Avram Ionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marian Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carjei! Vasile Marian shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carjei's zone, Mihail Chivulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Dincă came out of the goal and Mihail Chivulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustinian Flintașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Buciu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Buciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paul Buciu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marian Neaga was a little too slow when Iustinian Flintașu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. Filip Dincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Povară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Povară was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Carjei got a freekick which was hit by Avram Ionescu. The audience was convinced that Iustinian Flintașu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Neaga was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Ivasiuc during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mihail Chivulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Flintașu in the 96th minute of play forced Garbou's goalkeeper Marian Neaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Carjei had been in control for most of the match, Garbou still came away with the win.
