Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sandu Măgherușan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Garbou's Marian Neaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Măgherușan in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiberiu Şoimaru during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Garbou booed when Botarcani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Şoimaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Daniel Călimanescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botarcani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garbou the free kick. Vasile Marian, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Costel Zgabei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costel Zgabei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marian Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Zgabei scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Neaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Botarcani's Rareș Ciocârlan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Adrian Povară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Botarcani getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Octavian Vulturar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Garbou's Adrian Povară got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Botarcani's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Chivulescu came free, but Ionel Dejeu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Zgabei got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marian Neaga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Marian Neaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Măgherușan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Povară made a kick off. The supporters of Botarcani booed when Garbou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Buciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Botarcani's Sandu Măgherușan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Neaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Costel Zgabei might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Neaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costel Zgabei ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandu Măgherușan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Neaga having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Botarcani's Costel Zgabei made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Neaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Garbou's Adrian Povară sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionel Dejeu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costel Zgabei struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marian Neaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botarcani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Zgabei in the 89th minute of play forced Garbou's goalkeeper Marian Neaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Măgherușan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marian Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Botarcani had played much better football throughout.
