Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Videanu made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Daniel Posteucă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARUSSI TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covrigi CSS the free kick. After a rather tough play, MARUSSI TEAM's Daniel Posteucă got a free kick in the 4th minute. Codrin Berca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Sandu Axinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Măgură saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Alexiu in the 11th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Covrigi CSS's Emanuel Videanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cazimir Şneapotă was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Anton Cobâlcescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARUSSI TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st minute Sandu Axinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Măgură saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Videanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Videanu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covrigi CSS. Codrin Berca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Videanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cazimir Şneapotă having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in MARUSSI TEAM's zone, Emanuel Videanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Şneapotă came out of the goal and Emanuel Videanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Răzvan Grigore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gelu Bâlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codrin Berca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandu Axinte to strike the kick off in the second half. If Răzvan Grigore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MARUSSI TEAM getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Daniel Posteucă hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Emanuel Videanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covrigi CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Videanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes MARUSSI TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Victor Videanu. Codrin Berca struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covrigi CSS. In the 64th minute, Codrin Berca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viorel Alexiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viorel Alexiu's late challenge caught a MARUSSI TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Alexiu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Covrigi CSS's Viorel Alexiu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Daniel Posteucă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Corneliu Măgură made a huge save. Corneliu Măgură showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Cobâlcescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to MARUSSI TEAM getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anton Cobâlcescu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Răzvan Grigore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covrigi CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Grigore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Şneapotă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cazimir Şneapotă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Viorel Alexiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Şneapotă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Videanu's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Emanuel Videanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Berca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Codrin Berca made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Şneapotă. MARUSSI TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Covrigi CSS fully deserved thier win.
