Olimpiu Matei struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Tudor Voican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Racari. Avram Ghionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Olimpiu Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Liviu Mihuleac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Voican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Voican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Mihuleac in the 13th minute of the match. Tudor Voican made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Olimpiu Matei sent off a good shot on target. If Mihăiţă Tărău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneliu Dejeu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Radu Frățilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Tărău in the 34th minute of the match. Tudor Voican stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Mihuleac's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 38 minutes in the game, Olimpiu Matei fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tudor Voican having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Frățilă in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alin Tender prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Mihăiţă Tărău made the kick off in the second half. Radu Frățilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Tender having to interfere. Radu Frățilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Frățilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Tender having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fc Racari defense, Radu Frățilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alin Tender. The Fc Racari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alin Tender should have stopped the shot. When 1987 Cartierul Zob's Mihăiţă Tărău in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Racari's goalie prevented a goal. If Liviu Mihuleac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Voican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Olimpiu Matei took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tudor Voican. Tudor Voican dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in 1987 Cartierul Zob's zone, Olimpiu Matei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Voican came out of the goal and Olimpiu Matei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Olimpiu Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 1987 Cartierul Zob eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
