Sandu Axinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucrețiu Popic hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Deville defense, Liviu Nuțu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliodor Curcă. The Deville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliodor Curcă should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Liviu Nuțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Curcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandu Axinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manole Lupescu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Deville got a freekick which was hit by Manole Lupescu. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Cazimir Şneapotă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manole Lupescu was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Deville's Manole Lupescu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cazimir Şneapotă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Băsescu in the 28th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by MARUSSI TEAM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Coșeriu was slow to take the kick. During this time Deville's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, MARUSSI TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Ababei came free, but Cazimir Şneapotă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cazimir Şneapotă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Ababei, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Florin Ababei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Băsescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Şneapotă having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute, one of MARUSSI TEAM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MARUSSI TEAM. Paul Băsescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Deville's Florin Ababei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cazimir Şneapotă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iosif Frățilă's late challenge caught a MARUSSI TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosif Frățilă helped the player get up and apologised. If Sandu Axinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florin Ababei shot a long shot in the 88th minute and a light blocked Cazimir Şneapotă hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. After a rather tough play, MARUSSI TEAM's Anton Cobâlcescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in MARUSSI TEAM's zone, Lucrețiu Popic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Şneapotă came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Popic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, MARUSSI TEAM's Anton Cobâlcescu got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 100th minute Paul Băsescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 100 played minutes MARUSSI TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Anton Cobâlcescu.
