After 9 minutes, Emanuel Videanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covrigi CSS and the Bisericani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Videanu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Bisericani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Drăghincescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Covrigi CSS's Viorel Alexiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Răzvan Grigore struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Narcis Ichimescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covrigi CSS. The crowd rose to their feet as Covrigi CSS's Emanuel Videanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narcis Ichimescu. That made the score 3-0 after 27 minutes of play. With a little luck, Bisericani's Narcis Ichimescu got control of the ball when Răzvan Grigore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iordache Păunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Măgură having to interfere. A collision led to Bisericani getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Iordache Păunescu hit a great ball. Codrin Berca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Ichimescu having to interfere. Emanuel Videanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Narcis Ichimescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Răzvan Grigore came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Covrigi CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Grigore couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Iordache Păunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Măgură saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Miclescu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match, Dorel Ghiorman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Corneliu Măgură was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 61st minute of the match, Iordache Păunescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Corneliu Măgură saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 61 played minutes Covrigi CSS got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Bâlea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Grigore in the 68th minute of play forced Bisericani's goalkeeper Narcis Ichimescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bisericani fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Bisericani's Iordache Păunescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute Răzvan Grigore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Ichimescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Măgură made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Rotariu in the 74th minute. If Răzvan Grigore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iacob Mihălțan fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bisericani's protests and gave Iacob Mihălțan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Bisericani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Mihălțan to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Covrigi CSS got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Grigore. Răzvan Grigore was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Covrigi CSS's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Luca Gheorghiu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Emanuel Videanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Ichimescu having to interfere. Narcis Ichimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Berca in the 88th minute of the match. Covrigi CSS's Corneliu Măgură proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Covrigi CSS from getting a goal against them. Corneliu Măgură was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Iordache Păunescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iordache Păunescu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. 97 minutes into the match, Bisericani's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Videanu came free, but Narcis Ichimescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Covrigi CSS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
