Spectators: 6435 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1235, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sorin Boia kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Andronic to maneuver through the defense. If Octavian Calboreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Panciu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sebastian Mardarescu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Mardarescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Crows got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Mardarescu. Gavril Tinu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Calboreanu in the 23rd minute of play. Sorin Boia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octavian Calboreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorin Boia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Gavril Tinu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gavril Tinu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Boia in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Crows booed when Frunzisul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Stegaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irinel Gherase to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Crows's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Boia came free, but Gavril Tinu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Frunzisul's goalkeeper Călin Piț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Nicolae. In the 65th minute, Octavian Calboreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavril Tinu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Calboreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Crows's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Boia came free, but Gavril Tinu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Boia took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Tinu. Gavril Tinu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 85th minute, Sorin Boia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Octavian Calboreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frunzisul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Calboreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavian Calboreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gavril Tinu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Octavian Calboreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Tinu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Frunzisul had played much better football throughout.
