Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Octavian Calboreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Poplăcean was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sorin Boia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Poplăcean having to interfere. Sebastian Lepuș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Călin Piț firmly grabbed it by the left post. Călin Piț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Chirea went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Octavian Calboreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Poplăcean having to interfere. After 43 played minutes STEAUA SIGHET got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Avacariței. Dinu Poplăcean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Brănet in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Frunzisul getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adrian Baican hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Sorin Boia made the kick off in the second half. Octavian Calboreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dinu Poplăcean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, STEAUA SIGHET's Stelian Chibulcutean got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sorin Boias short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Dinu Poplăcean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dinu Poplăcean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Calboreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Octavian Calboreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Poplăcean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Calboreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Alexandru Cartiș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Octavian Calboreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, STEAUA SIGHET's goalkeeper Dinu Poplăcean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nechifor Brănet.
