Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Berestii's Iordache Ciorogaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Iordache Ciorogaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Căplescu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Berestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Spârlea to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Berestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Pârvulescu to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Gelu CS got a freekick which was hit by Vali Angheluță. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iordache Ciorogaru in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moise Căplescu saved Gelu CS from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Iordache Ciorogaru put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moise Căplescu. Gelu CS's Vali Angheluță got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Vali Angheluță off the ground. A collision led to Gelu CS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vali Angheluță hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Iordache Ciorogaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Stoicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Corneliu Filipașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Lupea got free with Corneliu Filipașcu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Berestii's Corneliu Filipașcu got control of the ball when Eliodor Lupea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliodor Lupea scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Filipașcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Iordache Ciorogaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Căplescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eliodor Lupea made the kick off in the second half. When Dacian Pârvulescu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berestii's protests and gave Dacian Pârvulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Dacian Pârvulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Lupea in the 59th minute of play forced Berestii's goalkeeper Corneliu Filipașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Berestii's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Lupea came free, but Corneliu Filipașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Filipașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Lupea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Eliodor Lupea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Filipașcu having to interfere. If David Bârsescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Ciorogaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Moise Căplescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Gelu CS getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Augustin Chihaia hit a great ball. Berestii's Aurelian Bobocea suffered a sore knee after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 89 minutes, Cazimir Pușcariu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gelu CS and the Berestii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliodor Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Pârvulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Berestii's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
