Valer Berceanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Horea Hidiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Buta having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valer Berceanu got free with Răzvan Buta in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliodor Udrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Sitaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Vlad Sitaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Udrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Akarat F.C.'s Horea Hidiș got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind LUCKY STAR DEVA's goalkeeper Răzvan Buta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisc Moldovan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisc Moldovan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliodor Udrescu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Vlad Sitaru sent off a good shot on target. If Gigi Stanciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play LUCKY STAR DEVA's Francisc Moldovan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 71st minute, Francisc Moldovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Hidiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
