Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciprian Titulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Aposdorf's Ovidiu Păunescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Vlad Stroia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aposdorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelu CS the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Aposdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Stroia to maneuver through the defense. If Eliodor Lupea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aposdorf's goalkeeper Cristinel Petre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Codreanu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Petre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Lupea got free with Cristinel Petre in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aposdorf's Cristinel Petre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Aposdorf from getting a goal against them. Marcel Codreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Petre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Aposdorf's Maxim Chinezu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maxim Chinezu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aposdorf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maxim Chinezu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Maxim Chinezu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Marian Stoicescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristinel Petre firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Codreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ovidiu Păunescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristinel Petre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Codreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ciprian Titulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moise Căplescu. Gelu CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Titulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aposdorf's Cristinel Petre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Lupea in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Aposdorf getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mugur Almajan hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Eliodor Lupea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristinel Petre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marcel Codreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aposdorf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gelu CS a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcu Romoşan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aposdorf's Cristinel Petre. 2-1. Cristinel Petre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Codreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliodor Lupea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Petre having to interfere. Marian Stoicescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the referee ended the match the Gelu CS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
