Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Marcel Codreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alex Fundătoreanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. UniQue FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eliodor Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Eliodor Lupea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gelu CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marcel Codreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Dinulescu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marcel Codreanu sped through UniQue FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Dinulescu. 25 minutes into the game, Damian Vasilică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UniQue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelu CS the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gelu CS's zone, Ciprian Luncașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Căplescu came out of the goal and Ciprian Luncașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliodor Lupea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Vali Angheluță sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Dinulescu skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Marcel Codreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gelu CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Codreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Dinulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eliodor Lupea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Gelu CS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marian Stoicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Denis Dinulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcel Codreanu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gelu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Codreanu couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Luncașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Marcel Codreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UniQue FC's Denis Dinulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcel Codreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Dinulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Codreanu in the 68th minute of play. UniQue FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Marcel Codreanu scored to the left of an out of position Denis Dinulescu, making the score, 0-3. Eliodor Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd match minute, UniQue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Asachi to maneuver through the defense. Denis Dinulescu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Eliodor Lupea sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Gelu CS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UniQue FC throughout the match.
