Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vali Perișoară started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the game Pompiliu Chițac made a throw-in which Cosmin Stancu played forward. After a rather tough play, Berestii's Dacian Pârvulescu got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Vali Perișoară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Filipașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes, FCSB's Victor Budac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Corneliu Filipașcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCSB reached it. After 23 played minutes Berestii got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Pârvulescu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Perișoară in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Filipașcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Ciorogaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Onaca having to interfere. If Iordache Ciorogaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneliu Filipașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Baicu in the 42nd minute of the match. Remus Baicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Filipașcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remus Baicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Remus Baicu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Filipașcu having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordache Ciorogaru made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FCSB's Victor Budac got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nistor Onaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Ciorogaru in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Berestii defense, Remus Baicu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Filipașcu. The Berestii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Filipașcu should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Berestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Pârvulescu to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Onaca came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Berestii's Iordache Ciorogaru. But to his dismay, Iordache Ciorogaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Iordache Ciorogaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Onaca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Horaţiu Berevoescu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB's protests and gave Horaţiu Berevoescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Horaţiu Berevoescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FCSB defense, Iordache Ciorogaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Onaca. The FCSB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Onaca should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Iordache Ciorogaru notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FCSB's Nistor Onaca. Nistor Onaca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Berestii getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mădălin Brezeanu hit a great ball. Vali Perișoară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Filipașcu having to interfere. Berestii's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
