Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FCSB's Vali Perișoară started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Feru's Alin Lupșe got control of the ball when Remus Baicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Feru's Alin Hirean got a free kick in the 4th minute. Alin Hirean's late challenge caught a FCSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alin Hirean helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Budac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alin Lupșe. Feru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 7th minute of the match Alin Hirean completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alin Hirean a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 8th minute, Alin Hirean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Perișoară in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alin Lupșe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FCSB's Vali Perișoară got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Ferdinand Condescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Condescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remus Baicu in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alin Lupșe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 minutes, Virgil Receanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feru and the FCSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Feru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Receanu to maneuver through the defense. Alin Lupșe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Perișoară in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 played minutes Vali Perișoară rounded Feru's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Virgil Receanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alin Lupșe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Perișoară, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Vali Perișoară's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Alin Lupșe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Condescu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vali Perișoară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Remus Baicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vali Perișoară in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alin Lupșe saved Feru from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, Cazimir Măndica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCSB the free kick. In the 64th minute, Cazimir Măndica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Baicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Lupșe having to interfere. The supporters of FCSB booed when Feru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Jivulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Horaţiu Berevoescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Baicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Feru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Condescu to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Feru's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Baicu came free, but Alin Lupșe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Mihai Zdrehuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihai Zdrehuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alin Lupșe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alin Lupșe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Baicu in the 93rd minute of the match. FCSB's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
