Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciprian Titulescu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Cătălin Vermeşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlad Stroia's late challenge caught a Berestii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlad Stroia helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Aposdorf got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Stroia. Corneliu Filipașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Titulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Berestii booed when Aposdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Chinezu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Aposdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bianu came free, but Cristinel Petre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Aposdorf got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Axinte. Cristinel Petre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Ciorogaru in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aposdorf's zone, Emanuel Bianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Petre came out of the goal and Emanuel Bianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

David Bârsescu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Bârsescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Berestii got a freekick which was hit by David Bârsescu. If Ciprian Titulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sebastian Borza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
