Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcel Codreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu CS's Moise Căplescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Perișoară in the 5th minute of play. Remus Baicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cazimir Pușcariu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Victor Budac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moise Căplescu. Gelu CS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Lupea got free with Nistor Onaca in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Pop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nistor Onaca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Codreanu in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Onaca saved FCSB from getting behind. Nistor Onaca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Codreanu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Marcel Codreanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Nistor Onaca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cazimir Pușcariu was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 24 played minutes Gelu CS got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Pușcariu. Gelu CS's Moise Căplescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Perișoară in the 28th minute of play. Eliodor Lupea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Onaca having to interfere. Nistor Onaca made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eliodor Lupea sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. Gelu CS were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after FCSB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcu Romoşan took the corner. Nistor Onaca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Codreanu went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliodor Lupea made a kick off. Vali Perișoară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Căplescu having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Gelu CS's Marian Stoicescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Onaca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB's zone, Eliodor Lupea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Onaca came out of the goal and Eliodor Lupea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horaţiu Pop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Gelu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Perișoară came free, but Moise Căplescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliodor Lupea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eliodor Lupea sped through FCSB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nistor Onaca. 76 minutes into the match, Gelu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Perișoară came free, but Moise Căplescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB's zone, Eliodor Lupea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Onaca came out of the goal and Eliodor Lupea tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 82nd minute Eliodor Lupea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Codreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Stoicescu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Onaca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliodor Lupea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nistor Onaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FCSB's Nistor Onaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Chihaia in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Eliodor Lupea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FCSB's goalkeeper Nistor Onaca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Lupea came free, but Nistor Onaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Onaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Codreanu in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gelu CS fully deserved thier win.
