In the 4th minute, Paul Berceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. -MZE- FC Bals's Cristian Măndica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save -MZE- FC Bals from getting a goal against them. If Marian Ostoici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Berceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petruț Neculce's late challenge caught a ANOSR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petruț Neculce helped the player get up and apologised. Paul Berceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Măndica having to interfere. If Marian Ostoici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to -MZE- FC Bals getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Laurențiu Encioiu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Ostoici in the 26th minute of play forced -MZE- FC Bals's goalkeeper Cristian Măndica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paul Berceanu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ANOSR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Berceanu couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, ANOSR's Marian Ostoici dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A hard shot 35 in the game by Paul Berceanu from a close distance when the talented Cristian Măndica managed to make a qualified save. -MZE- FC Bals's players were relieved. Petru Hulubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Mateescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vali Antipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Antipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Hulubei in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Șerban Mateescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Petru Hulubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Brăescu. After 66 played minutes -MZE- FC Bals got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Siclovan. Paul Berceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Măndica having to interfere. A collision led to -MZE- FC Bals getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Olimpiu Tudor hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Marian Ostoici managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANOSR's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Ostoici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Măndica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petru Hulubei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Antipa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ANOSR's Ion Păvăloae got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in -MZE- FC Bals's zone, Marian Ostoici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Măndica came out of the goal and Marian Ostoici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Ostoici in the 83rd minute of play forced -MZE- FC Bals's goalkeeper Cristian Măndica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Paul Berceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANOSR's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Berceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Măndica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. -MZE- FC Bals's Cristian Măndica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Berceanu in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Petruț Neculce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Berceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Măndica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
