FC Oaia Becaliana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ovidiu Feteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cujmiru's Felix Badea got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Gică Tufescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Augustin Zgaroi to make any attempt to save it. After the first half Cujmiru were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Tufescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petru Deșliu got free with Claudiu Zbanţ in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Petru Deșliu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudiu Zbanţ. The goal made the score 2-5.
