Paul Berceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Augustin Vişan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Matei booed when ANOSR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Papadima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Vişan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Ostoici in the 35th minute of play. Panait Tudorică's late challenge caught a ANOSR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Tudorică helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes FC Matei got a freekick which was hit by Panait Tudorică. Panait Tudorică received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vali Antipa came out and tried to block the shot, but Panait Tudorică slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, ANOSR's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Tudorică came free, but Vali Antipa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Sandu Barbăroșie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vali Antipa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Ostoici made a kick off. Vali Antipa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cazimir Dumitrachescu went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Panait Tudorică might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vali Antipa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Tudorică ran back to his position shaking his head. Vali Antipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Balaci in the 62nd minute of the match. Marian Ostoici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Augustin Vişan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Antipa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Tudorică in the 68th minute of play forced ANOSR's goalkeeper Vali Antipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Ostoici received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. ANOSR's Vali Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Tudorică in the 77th minute of play. Panait Tudorică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edgar Balaci managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Matei's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Balaci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vali Antipa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Edgar Balaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vali Antipa was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Vali Antipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Tudorică in the 94th minute of play. FC Matei walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
