Codrin Tastaman hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ovidiu Feteanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ferdinand Cârstoiu to make any attempt to save it. Martin Abrudan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Cârstoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Abrudan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Ferdinand Cârstoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Abrudan in the 19th minute of the match. When Aurel Pop fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciochiuta's protests and gave Aurel Pop a yellow card for diving instead. Aurel Pop hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When FC Oaia Becaliana's Martin Abrudan, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Oaia Becaliana. In the 23rd minute, Cătălin Balint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinand Cârstoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidiu Feteanu in the 29th minute. Claudiu Zbanţ made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Codrin Tastaman sent off a good shot on target. Gică Tufescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Cârstoiu having to interfere. Gică Tufescu scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Cârstoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gică Tufescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciochiuta's Ferdinand Cârstoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Feteanu in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Gică Tufescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Cârstoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Abrudan in the 71st minute of play forced Ciochiuta's goalkeeper Ferdinand Cârstoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Feteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ferdinand Cârstoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ciochiuta's Calistrat Ungureanu got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Tastaman got free with Claudiu Zbanţ in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ciochiuta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Cârstoiu should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Gabriel Odobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Cârstoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Abrudan in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Cârstoiu saved Ciochiuta from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Alex Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
