In the 35thth minute of the game Costel Şuplăcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -MZE- FC Bals's Cristian Măndica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Măndica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Şuplăcan's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Cristian Măndica was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Costel Şuplăcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Măndica was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Șerban Mateescu made a kick off. Petru Deșliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cristian Măndica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
