Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Codruț Dragomir started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Şuplăcan in the 4th minute of play forced Dragugesti's goalkeeper Stelian Anisie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragugesti's Stelian Anisie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Şuplăcan in the 6th minute of play. Augustin Zgaroi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Dragomir in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cujmiru's Sandu Șişman got a free kick in the 10th minute. Augustin Zgaroi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aurel Bobeanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Dragugesti were awarded a corner. Doru Vătavu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Doru Vătavu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cujmiru's Augustin Zgaroi did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Şuplăcan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelian Anisie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Cristian Durbac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragugesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cujmiru the free kick. In the 18th minute, Cristian Durbac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costel Şuplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stelian Anisie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Şuplăcan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelian Anisie saved Dragugesti from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Cristian Durbac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dragugesti's Damian Calomfirescu got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Costel Şuplăcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Anisie. Dragugesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costel Şuplăcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Dragugesti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cujmiru were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Şuplăcan was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes, Cujmiru's Călin Muja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stelian Anisie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cujmiru reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Şuplăcan in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelian Anisie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Durbac hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Costel Şuplăcan lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Stelian Anisie. After 64 minutes, Damian Calomfirescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragugesti and the Cujmiru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Calomfirescu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Cujmiru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Badea to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Costel Şuplăcan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stelian Anisie. Costel Şuplăcan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Stelian Anisie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Şuplăcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Stelian Anisie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Şuplăcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cujmiru's Sandu Șişman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Bobeanu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Augustin Zgaroi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragugesti. Stelian Anisie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Şuplăcan in the 91st minute of the match. Costel Şuplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Stelian Anisie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Cujmiru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dragugesti throughout the match.
