Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corneliu Andriescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC FuLgErU's Alin Pârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Vrabie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Lăceanu in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Sumugiu's Marcu Horea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Buzilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 16 played minutes FC FuLgErU got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Chihaia. After some careless play in the FC FuLgErU defense, Marcu Horea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Buzilă. The FC FuLgErU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Buzilă should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Sumugiu's Dan Buzilă threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corneliu Andriescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the match, Sumugiu's Corneliu Andriescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Buzilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Damian during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Ovidiu Micescu from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Dan Buzilă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 32nd minute, Isac Damian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Marcu Horea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumugiu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Sumugiu's Marcu Horea got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcu Horea struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dan Buzilă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumugiu.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Lăceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Sumugiu's Corneliu Andriescu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Lăceanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Vrabie. That made the score 4-1 in the 58 minute of play. After 64 played minutes Sumugiu got a freekick which was hit by Ion Bistreanu. In the 73rd minute Marcu Horea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Buzilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC FuLgErU getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Victor Bârza hit a great ball. Marcu Horea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Pârlea in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Vrabie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Sumugiu's Albert Ghețea got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sumugiu's zone, Fabian Lăceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Vrabie came out of the goal and Fabian Lăceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
