Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Pompiliu Smarandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Baicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristinel Chifu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Smarandache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Matei Baicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iurie Bistreanu made a kick off. Pompiliu Smarandache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Baicea having to interfere. Matei Baicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Chifu in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Urmenisul's Marcu Popan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Matei Baicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Smarandache in the 63rd minute of the match. Matei Baicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Smarandache, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pompiliu Smarandache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Baicea. Dream Team Titan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pompiliu Smarandache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Smarandache in the 78th minute of play forced Dream Team Titan's goalkeeper Matei Baicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Baicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Chifu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Dream Team Titan's Matei Baicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Smarandache in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Calistrat Tarchilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristinel Chifu might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matei Baicea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Chifu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Codrin Bușcu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dream Team Titan's protests and gave Codrin Bușcu a yellow card for diving instead. Codrin Bușcu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Dream Team Titan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
