With a left leg Narcis Bădila saved AS PODARI from getting behind. The supporters of Urmenisul booed when AS PODARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Lipoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AS PODARI getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Stelian Macamete hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Smarandache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Narcis Bădila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pompiliu Smarandache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Narcis Bădila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urmenisul's Cristinel Chifu got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narcis Bădila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Smarandache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Cristinel Chifu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Bădila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of AS PODARI booed when Urmenisul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Popan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rareș Zbughină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eugen Pricop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AS PODARI! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Urmenisul. Francisc Tunaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Narcis Bădila. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Pompiliu Smarandache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urmenisul's supporters rose to their feet, but Pompiliu Smarandache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Bădila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narcis Bădila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Smarandache in the 45th minute of play. Narcis Bădila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Smarandache in the 48th minute of the match.

In the 53rd match minute, AS PODARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Lipoveanu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Chifu in the 55th minute of play forced AS PODARI's goalkeeper Narcis Bădila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urmenisul's Cristinel Chifu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Pompiliu Smarandache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urmenisul's supporters rose to their feet, but Pompiliu Smarandache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Bădila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pompiliu Smarandache might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narcis Bădila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pompiliu Smarandache ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristinel Chifu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Bădila having to interfere. If Pompiliu Smarandache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Chifu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Narcis Bădila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emilian Liciu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS PODARI's goalkeeper Narcis Bădila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AS PODARI's zone, Pompiliu Smarandache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Bădila came out of the goal and Pompiliu Smarandache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Pompiliu Smarandache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urmenisul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Smarandache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Urmenisul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AS PODARI throughout the match.
