Asceții FC's Doru Suşu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Sandu Amărculesei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC TKD's Mihnea Receanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florin Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandu Amărculesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Receanu having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Sandu Amărculesei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valer Mitescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihnea Receanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Amărculesei in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Plopșor in the 25th minute of play forced Asceții FC's goalkeeper Ilie Lopatnicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihnea Receanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Amărculesei in the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Asceții FC's Valer Mitescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihnea Receanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sandu Amărculesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC TKD's Mihnea Receanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Amărculesei in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Asceții FC's Victor Plopeanu got a free kick in the 46th minute. With an all-out effort, FC TKD's Ilie Lopatnicu threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florin Plopșor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The wind increased when Sandu Amărculesei made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC TKD's Silviu Asachi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Valer Mitescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Receanu having to interfere. Sandu Amărculesei might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Receanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Amărculesei ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandu Amărculesei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihnea Receanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Sandu Amărculesei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asceții FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Amărculesei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valer Mitescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihnea Receanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Amărculesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Amărculesei struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mihnea Receanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asceții FC. Mihnea Receanu came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Asceții FC's Valer Mitescu. But to his dismay, Valer Mitescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, FC TKD's Mihnea Receanu got control of the ball when Valer Mitescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asceții FC's Sandu Amărculesei got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Asceții FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
