Emanuel Petriceanu came out of the goal and Tudor Iliescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tudor Iliescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Emanuel Petriceanu to make any attempt to save it. Eduard Sitaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Capiteni's Tudor Iliescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Gods Of The Arena's Emanuel Vornicu got a free kick in the 35th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Iliescu was the one to do the kick off. Tudor Iliescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Capiteni's Eduard Sitaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Petriceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tudor Iliescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Petriceanu having to interfere. If Gheorghe Ţiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Gods Of The Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Chifu to maneuver through the defense. Capiteni's Felix Bondrea got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Iliescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Petriceanu having to interfere.
