Emanuel Vornicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Zăvoianu having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Gods Of The Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Urducea to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Petriceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Jdeica in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cotofene's Felix Rizescu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gods Of The Arena's Emanuel Petriceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Jdeica in the 39th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Petriceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Stelian Jdeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihai Urducea during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Cotofene. Gică Răduța stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Petriceanu. 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Vornicu was the one to do the kick off.
