The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Maiorescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Traian Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Sitaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. But to his dismay, Eduard Sitaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 57th minute, Eduard Sitaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capiteni were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
