Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gică Grămescu started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Cotofene got a freekick which was hit by Gică Grămescu. In the 4th minute, Gică Grămescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Iliescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Sitaru struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capiteni. Eduard Sitaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Cotofene got a freekick which was hit by Felix Rizescu. If Eduard Sitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Sitaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Eduard Sitaru made a precise shot to the right of Ciprian Zăvoianu. Cotofene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eduard Sitaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capiteni's Gheorghe Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Grămescu in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Capiteni's goalkeeper Gheorghe Susara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelian Jdeica. Tudor Iliescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ciprian Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduard Sitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

A collision led to Capiteni getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felix Bondrea hit a great ball. Alin Blaga hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of Capiteni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Capiteni. The referee gave Cotofene a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gică Răduța, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Capiteni's Gheorghe Susara. 1-1. Capiteni's Gheorghe Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Jdeica in the 71st minute of play. Tudor Iliescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Capiteni's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iacob Gherase kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Gică Grămescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Susara. Capiteni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Grămescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gheorghe Susara came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cotofene's Gică Grămescu. But to his dismay, Gică Grămescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, Gică Grămescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Susara. Capiteni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Grămescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Gică Grămescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cotofene booed when Capiteni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bondrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gică Răduța was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cotofene's zone, Eduard Sitaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Zăvoianu came out of the goal and Eduard Sitaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cotofene players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
