In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steaua Bucarest's goalkeeper Iustin Nacu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dacian Antohi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Steaua Bucarest's Avram Vişoiu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Joanță made a kick off. Sebastian Joanță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Iustin Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Joanță in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustin Nacu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Toader Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Nacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Joanță in the 58th minute of the match. Toader Apăvăloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Iustin Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steaua Bucarest were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ACS Unirea Curtești's much stronger midfield.
