Iustin Papaiani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrian Buligan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Remus Cucerdean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Papaiani having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Craiova's Cristian Topală tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Fadimac defense, Remus Cucerdean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustin Papaiani. The Fadimac fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustin Papaiani should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Cucerdean in the 35th minute of play forced Fadimac's goalkeeper Iustin Papaiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Papaiani was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Remus Cucerdean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remus Cucerdean really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Craiova's Adrian Buligan got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Cucerdean was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Dumitru Udrescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fadimac and the Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Topală placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Remus Cucerdean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Craiova getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lucrețiu Cârju hit a great ball. Fadimac's Remus Văcaru got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fadimac's Aristide Milcoveanu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Remus Cucerdean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. In the 90th minute Remus Cucerdean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Papaiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Fadimac's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Cârju came free, but Iustin Papaiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrian Buligan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Buligan couldn't finish the play. Craiova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
