Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andrei Tănasă made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Andrei Tănasă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ion Pârvuță was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sebastian Voitiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Iustin Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting's Ion Pârvuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Cercelescu in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Cercelescu came free, but Ion Pârvuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Cercelescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Sporting's Horaţiu Negrițoiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horaţiu Negrițoiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sporting protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horaţiu Negrițoiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 20th match minute, Sporting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Negrițoiu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting's zone, Andrei Arotăriței stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Pârvuță came out of the goal and Andrei Arotăriței tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ion Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Tănasă, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ion Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Tănasă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Vişoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ion Pârvuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Tănasă came free, but Ion Pârvuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Cercelescu scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ion Pârvuță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Voitiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sebastian Voitiş came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sporting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Voitiş couldn't finish the play. Emil Opriș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Voitiş was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sebastian Voitiş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steaua Bucarest's Iustin Nacu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ion Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Ignat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Opriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avram Vişoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ion Pârvuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Tănasă in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucarest's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Voitiş came free, but Iustin Nacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Anton Militaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Nacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Opriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Sporting's Ion Pârvuță got control of the ball when Avram Vişoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Ignat in the 78th minute of play forced Sporting's goalkeeper Ion Pârvuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Militaru kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Sebastian Voitiş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Nacu. Steaua Bucarest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Voitiş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 90th minute, Emil Opriș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Voitiş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anton Militaru came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sporting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Militaru couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Steaua Bucarest had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
